Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Cancelling a subscription
Go to Account → Manage billing and choose Cancel. There's no fee and no notice period. You keep Pro access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. You can resubscribe at any time.
2. Your 14-day cancellation right
By law you would normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase of digital content. Because Precedent Pro starts immediately, at checkout you ask for immediate access and acknowledge that this right ends once access begins (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 37).
3. First-subscription guarantee
If it's your first ever Precedent subscription and you're not happy, email within days of that first payment from the email address on your account. We'll refund that payment in full, no questions asked, and Pro access will end. The guarantee applies once per customer and doesn't cover renewals or passes.
4. Renewals and unused time
We don't give partial refunds for unused time when you cancel mid-period — you simply keep access until the period ends. If you forgot to cancel a renewal, contact us within 48 hours of the charge and, if you haven't used Pro since, we'll refund it.
5. Passes
Passes (for example the 7-day pass) are one-off purchases that start immediately and never renew. They're non-refundable once access has begun, except where the service is faulty (section 6).
6. If something is wrong
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If Precedent isn't — for example you paid but couldn't access Pro — tell us and we'll fix it, and if we can't, we'll give you an appropriate refund. Market movements, alert outcomes and trading results are not faults; see the Risk Disclosure.
7. How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method within 14 days of approval (your bank may take a few extra days to show them). A full refund ends the Pro access it paid for.
8. Please talk to us first
If there's a problem with a payment, email before raising a dispute with your bank — it's quicker for you, and we reply to every message.
